The Kerian Sizer for crawfish has long been the premier machine in the industry for gently and accurately grading crawfish by size.
Just recently, with the collaboration of LSU and several gulf area fishermen, Kerian Machines has developed a new machine for grading head-on shrimp. This machine is so compact that it can be used on the boat and so gentle that in testing shrimp were consistently run through the machine as many as six times with no damage to the whiskers or limbs. At Kerian Machines we also have experience providing equipment to grade clams, mussels, prawns and many other shellfish by size.
