In this video you can see cantaloupe being graded by size on a Kerian Sizer.  

The opening between the rollers consistently and slowly increases as the rollers carry the melons forward. Straightened rollers eliminate any pinching or squeezing during sizing so that the melons are not damaged or bruised.
 
The sizes that the melons are sorted into can be quickly and easily adjusted by moving the dividers on the takeaway conveyor.
